1) The draft will begin on Monday, June 9th at 3:00 PM EST. Draft pick trading and draft orders will lock at 7:00 PM EST on Sunday, June 8th. This will give the trade committee ample time to allow/veto a trade involving draft picks. If a trade is vetoed, however, it will not be able to be reworked with draft picks included.
2) At 3:00 on Monday, the first owner will have a 24 hour window to make his selection. When a selection is made the 24 hour window begins for the next owner in the draft order.
3) If an owner neglects to make a pick in the 24 hour period, he/she is immediately skipped and the next owner down the list may make his/her selection, starting the next 24 hour period.
4) If skipped, an owner has the right to make his/her skipped selection at ANY time. This pick will not affect the 24 hour window for the actual owner on the clock.
5) If an owner knows he/she will not be available for his/her pick, a PM to Mark (Royals) or Mike (Red Sox) with a list of desired selections in order will ensure you are not skipped.
6) All prospects drafted will be placed under the minors list on our proboards rosters and will not affect this year's cap. During the offseason each individual owner will have to find a way to add these players to his/her 35 man minors roster, or drop the player.
7) All drafted prospects will be available to trade AFTER our draft is 100% complete.
8) All prospects drafted by an MLB club, and not by an owner of this league, go to each respective MLB team in this league as a protected prospect ready to be brought up to the 35 man minors roster whenever desired.
9) All drafted prospects who go unsigned this year will result in a compensation pick to the team who drafted him in next year's draft.
