#1 thing I want the TC to see, and sorry it had to be on your trade guys. Hudson was a DPL add, therefor he has no value in this trade. Meaning it is really the spec for the other spec.

How a player was acquired by Team A has no bearing on that player's value to Team B.

I'm sorry but if a team wants to trade for a player that was picked up from dropped list then that's on them. Hudson has a2 year contract. Sorry that has value in this league. Sorry red Sox that this had to happen here.

For my part I did not veto based on the DPL issue, but rather that I believe the trade is severely unbalanced.

This is why tony went with a silent vote because there imo have been trades passed that were way more unbalanced and unfair then this one

I can appreciate that it's an opinion related issue. Some individuals may see value in Tim Hudson and the other guy, and some may value prospects more. Ultimately, having a TC that votes regardless of silent or not is asking for the opinions of the people on the TC. I think Tony wanted to go to a silent vote to minimize conflict between owners in the league.
I would be curious to see what trade you might think would be more unbalanced and unfair then this one as reference for myself in judging future trades?
