According to the ProBoards roster, the Yankees' 1st round pick belongs to the Cubs.

No problem. However, for what it's worth, I can't find a record of the transaction where the Yankees' 2015 1st round pick was traded to the Cubs. We might need Tony and Joshua to jump in here....

I will look into it, do not remember tradin git, but will certainly do the research. Usually picks are not even tradeable until they are placed on teams. Hence the need for things to progress in a certain order before we open other things up.....

The picks have never been updated. reference last years draft to the number of picks his roster shows. He had 4 first round picks last year, his roster shows 4 1st round picks. Aiken was selected #1 overall and never signed so his comp pick was #2 and he finished with the worst record last year. So he had #1 and #2 as well as LAD and my 1st rounder. So what is wrong here is the draft picks for this season are not correct on the rosters. EVERYONE should have both their first and second round picks prior to any trade made this season. There is the issue.

This years draft picks could not have been handed out. They are generated once the season ends and the final ESPN tally's are in. So there is no way we could have traded draft picks a year in advance. If you can fond the research I would love to see it my friend. We can not trade what we do not have, that has always been the rule.

well check your transaction on jul 22 2014 where you traded your 1st rd pick to cubs and thie was after all draft picks had been made for 2014 which you had none it only says 1st rd pick but it can not be for anything but 2015 my friend as everything else was gone and over with.
