Nothing should pass without a majority ever in a league like this. If we have to think about it to where it comes to a tie, then we are already on the edge of causing an uproar over 1 single trade. ABSOLUTELY vetoed.

Ties should pass. The reason for the vote process is so that nobody is getting over on the league and "cheating". If a vote is split by the committee that should mean the trade is close enough to pass imo.

why? if 50% of the other TC members + 2 owners feel its a pass why should it not be? if its too close to call a veto by majority then its simply just not close enough to call a unfair trade... imo ofcourse

OK, as the 10th member of the TC, I vote that if the vote ends in a tie 5-5, then a NEUTRAL alternate votes on the trade via how he sees it, not based on any of the previous votes/comments. This alternate should ONLY be called upon in the place of a tie to decide a trade. I think of a 5-5 tie as half the league approving and vetoing the deal, respectively. Without at least 6 votes either way, is it really fair to say a trade passes/is vetoed? NO!

No tenough for me to make a change IMO Was this a mandatory vote? because i think the opinion of the 18 voters should trump the opinion of 12 people who didnt care to make a vote. A poll is an OPTION not an obligation. and BTW its great to see you back here giving a shit about the league Tony. I was hoping to find a post explaining why you left during the most important part of the leagues season, but i couldnt find one, weird. Either way its great to have you back to shoot down the opinions of people in the league, god how i missed that. |
