We will aim to kick off the draft Sunday 2/28/16 at 9AM Eastern. The rules are as follows:
1. 2 hrs between picks. If you do not pick within 2 hrs, your pick is skipped, but you can make that pick at any time. If you know you are coming up and won't be available to pick, send your list to an admin or other trusted source. The admins are Kyle (Mets), Duck (Yankees), JBach (Brewers), Mike (Red Sox), Donald (Rangers), Dan (Jays), and Keith (Twins).
2. The 2 hour window will countdown during the hours of 9 am-11 pm EST. You may make picks outside of that window, but the clock won't be ticking on you or the person picking next.
3. From now until 11 pm EST on March 24th, the draft will be conducted on ProBoards. Once you have made your pick and posted it in the Draft Thread, please send a PM to the manager making the next pick
3. Any major or minor leaguer who has not been kept by another franchise is eligible to be selected. This includes any international players who signed prior to the draft beginning.
4. This is a straight draft (as opposed to a snake draft) with the White Sox picking first in each round.
5. We will not start any new draft rounds after 11 pm EST on March 24th, but if we are in the middle of a round at that point, we will finish the round.
6. If we do not finish the 45 rounds necessary to completely fill our rosters by 11 pm EST on March 24th, we will set a date and time prior to Opening Day (to be determined later) when we will have additional draft rounds on ESPN.
7. Anyone who did not use all 20 of their keeper slots will get to make up the difference at the end of the draft with additional picks.
8. Any undrafted major leaguers will be available on waivers through ESPN to fill out rosters. After three days, those undrafted and unclaimed MLB players will clear waivers and be available first come, first serve.
9. Any undrafted minor leaguers will become property of their real life franchises. In other words, all undrafted White Sox prospects become property of the White Sox, and so on.
10. Any undrafted minor leaguer who belongs to a contracted franchise will not be eligible to be picked up until that player reaches the majors, at which point he will be put on waivers.
Please post here or PM an admin if there are any questions.
