Since the conception of this league The minors of your MLB team have been yours, Unless acquired via trade or drafted in the rookie draft, as long as they maintain prospect status less than 50IP/130AB and did not make an opening day roster. If called up in season you had the option to bring them up but were not required to. I cannot find this in the current rules and would like to have it put back in.
